Saturdays are usually days I make Daddy stay home and spend with the girls but today I let him go to work -- mainly to keep him from complaining about my wanting to watch the Live Earth coverage online. He gets bored easily if I don't give him the computer thus I sent him him off to play in his office.
I figure he is luckier than I am because he gets peace and quiet away from the ruckus around the house. All I gotta say is enjoy my dear because it won't happen again for quite sometime now. I at least need my one day where I can lock myself in the bedroom without the kids bugging me constantly...
Two Vehicle Family, Again
It has been a long time since we have had two vehicles (since 2001, I think)! No, we did not buy a new vehicle but did buy a minivan -- a Ford Windstar (1998) but even so we will be able to go out without cramping the kids in the back seat. Yes, there are repairs needed but still under blue book and the good news is our mechanic has said that it should run well for awhile after repairs are made. Hopefully by then we can think about something a lot newer but for now this will definitely work for our family. I know that both my hubby and I are glad we do not have to shuffle the one car around just to get things done, anymore.
