Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1: The Movie

I hate to say it but the book was much better

The problem with the movie was that it followed the book too much and seemed to want to get to much detail from the book into the movie thus leaving little time for the action which seemed to be a ton less than the book has even in the first half of the it. My son also noticed the same thing I did which was the action scenes were too loud, it used to be rock concerts that caused peoples hearing to go bad now it will be the movies we take our kids to that damage not only our hearing but our kids at a very young age. 

I am so glad that the movies are almost finished and the actors can move ahead with there lives because they certainly are getting to be too old for the parts they play. I would certainly not like to see them in yet another Harry Potter movie after Part 2 comes out because dang who cares what they do as adults kids won't really. J.K Rowlings please don't write another Harry Potter novel. There is a time and place for him to be finished and this is definitely it as he has done what he had been groomed to do.

Stephen King's Book: Full Dark, No Stars

If anyone cares this is what I am reading this month. If you love Stephen King's short story collections (as I do) then this is a book for you. I shall say that I believe that one of the shorts in her maybe a movie someday. Of course, I am no movie producer or director but you must remember that Stand By Me and 1408 were once short stories before made into movies.

My Copies of Secret Speakers and the Search for Selador's Gate

I got my copies today and I have to say that I am already ready to read this book for the second time. Again if you are addicted to the Harry Potter Series and the Twilight series I believe you will not be able to put this book down either. Thank you Karey Shane for letting me be one of the first to read this book before its official publication.

Secret Speakers and the Search for Selador's Gate

This is a great book for teens and parents who love fantasy and adventure. I found that it is as good as the Harry Potter and the Twilight series. K.S.R. Kingworth is a fantastic storyteller and  will have you flipping pages fast and furious to see what will happen next. I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek almost a year ago and I was intrigued by the first page on til the end. 

I suggest you go to Amazon.com  and buying it now, it is well worth the money. If you have kids they will read it once or twice and they will pass it down to their children when the time comes.
