The Weather

All the reports say we are to have bad weather but I am praying that it bypasses us. The fact is that most of it is coming from the south west so there is a slight chance that only those south of us could get the moisture and in the sleet and ice form they can have it. I do not mind snow or even rain (if I do not have to go out in it) but ice and sleet is horrible in every way possible.

Nothing much else is going on here. The university building where my husband is housed is still without electricity but thankfully he has found other space around the university to house what he needs until he can get in his office again. The computer is off my kitchen table and that is all that matters to me, hehe!

I am in Clean Out Mode

I thoroughly cleaned my living room and have gotten to the point where I can now see the whole middle of my living room, which is wonderful. My son just asked me why I changed the room and I really had no real answer for him except that I do that frequently because I get bored and look at the room all day.

I am also faced with the fact that my husband has temporarily been displaced from his office and has brought home his computer from his office and placing it on my damn kitchen table where the kids eat their breakfast and dinner. The problem is something about a transformer or fuse or something in the electrical system blowing on Friday evening causing the power in his building to go out and the electric company said that it may take two to four weeks but probably longer knowing the panhandle workings of things. Heck, we already have a restaurant that decides on a whim whether or when to open their business for dinner.

Nothing Much is Happening

This winter is nothing like what last winter was like and for that I am very thankful. We have all stayed healthy because we got our flu shots in the fall. Our youngest has been dealing with allergy type problems because of the weirdness in the weather but other than that she is healthy as a horse as some say.

The animals are all healthy and the ringworm only attacked two of our cats Sandy and Sammy and they recovered within two months or less. Sara, the puppy is great and is pretty much house trained except with a few accidents here and there which is to be expected because of the fact that she is an indoor dog for the most part.

The thing I am happy to report is that Hillary won Oklahoma and California as well as some other key states.
