Happy Halloween

Have a ghoulish day and stay safe not sorry. I would rather hide out in the back room as I hate opening my door to all kids in the town. Because we live on campus we seem to get all the town kids trick or treating and with my five cats I get scared that they will run out thus the possibility of getting hurt, scared, or simply running away takes over on a night where there are tons of parents, children, and their cars going up and down the street.

We will take our own kids out -- at least the girls as our boy is going to go around with his friends.

Picture Day!

I always fear these days because there is no way to know if your kids will actually behave and smile in a nice way. Of course, there is always the fear that the teachers or the photographers won't find the stray hair or the stray food particle or any of a number of other things that can land on or around the face and shirt.

I am at the school and photographers mercy....

Good Morning All!

How come it is all week I am going is it Friday yet and then on Monday I am saying "Thank God it is Monday!" I can tell you exactly why, actually, it is because I hate getting up early on the weekdays and then when it hits the weekend by Sunday night I am ready for a break from the middle child who is a handful. I love her dearly but dang she has the same personality and temper as I do thus making it very difficult as I was a handful myself as a kid and now I have her to remind me how tough I was to my own mom.

So thankfully, it is Monday morning! I take that same daughter to gymnastics this afternoon which means she will be really tired tonight.

Sunday

Thus tomorrow is Monday meaning that I will get a quieter day than my hectic weekends. I have to say I have to applaud those that have the patience to home school their kids as I could never do that -- I like my peace and quiet and am looking forward to the day I send my youngest daughter off to school either in Pre-K or Kindergarten. Of course my youngest is only two-and-a-half thus I still have about two years before Pre-K if we still live in the Oklahoma Panhandle. If we are to move to California then I may have to put my youngest in daycare so that I can get a job outside the home if I don't get my book edited and circulating by then.

I probably should be spending all my energy on my two books I have written as I believe there is an audience out there but I know that I will be doing NaNoWriMo again this year so I will spend January through May editing the others.

Today has been a good morning thus far of course the thing that makes it good is my girls let me sleep in until 7:45AM, yeehaw!

I thought I would let you know that I have started yet another blog to talk about all my tv watching, it is: Marvelous One's Reality and Television Round-Up . I also have my other blog Marvelous Melia's Computer Gaming Review that I am also begining so take a look if you like either games or television. I figured that these three blogs capture most of my life in a nutshell.

NanoWriMo Starts Soon

Yes, that is true. The thing is that I am not sure even what I am going to write I just pray that everyone stays healthy during that month as well as during this whole Fall and Winter months as I cannot handle another year of sickness.

Anyway, that is what I am up to after the joys of school pictures on Tuesday and Halloween on Wednesday. And since I know you are going to ask: My littlest girl will be a ladybug, and the middle one is going to be a witch. As for my boy, he is going to be something black but I am not sure what to call it. I just hope this is his last year but I doubt it.
