After Many Years of Not Coloring

I colored my hair auburn red. My middle daughter said it does not look red because it is not the color of a red crayon or construction paper. I like it and that is all that matters. The fact that I did not have to pay an arm and a leg to get it colored was even better. The few grays that my stylist saw are gone as well, not that I was really worried about them as they were very unnoticeable.

Here is the new hair color for you to enjoy:

My Son Turned Twelve Today at 6:45 AM.

I am feeling old now. What it means is he is almost a teenager but because most of his friends are teenagers he has taken on their ways and is a teenager at heart and mind. All of this is driving me batty!!!

He has already opened all his gifts when they came in on Wednesday and got a new mattress and bedding from us on the same afternoon. We will have cake with his friends this evening after we have steak and sweet potatoes (regular baked potato for his Dad) for dinner.

Anyway, nothing much will be happening the rest of today because he is not even home.

Spring Break - Kid's Home for the Week

Sigh! It is only Tuesday and I am already rady for the two older ones to return back to school next week. I am not looking forward to summer at all, that is for sure.

I did get away yesterday and get my haircut:

Not my most favorite image of me but here is a self taken portrait of my mug.

The above pic was taken by James yesterday and like today my right eye is wondering like seems to do on a regular basis.
