Fridays Off

My son has the next six or so Fridays off of school. Yeehaw for my son. This is nothing new because the school here builds them in because of the fact that they have snow days built in and when they don't use them they must get these days off now.

Over the last several years the climate around here has changed to the point where we have fewer and fewer days of snow and thus the kids never get off because of the snow. We were lucky to have the three or four snowfalls we did get this last winter. I just hope that they don't take them totally out of the calendar as that is when the year of the week-long blizzard happens and they need that week off and they will not have it and thus they make the kids stay an extra week in May. I can say that my son would cry a whole week if this were to happen as he is rather sensitive.

For now though we have our Fridays off!
